HYDROFLUORIC ACID ALKYLATION SERVICES UNIT

HF-N Piping products are engineered for use in critical refinery applications, particularly in Hydrofluoric Acid Alkylation Units (HFAUs). In these units, hydrofluoric acid (HF) acts as a catalyst to convert isobutane and low-molecular-weight alkenes into high-octane alkylates — a vital component of clean-burning gasoline. In similar units using sulfuric acid as the catalyst, the process is known as a Sulfuric Acid Alkylation Unit (SAAU).
